Kick Off & Picnic
Why Jesus calls us to serve others.
Season of Service is an opportunity to gather civic, corporate and church leaders togehter all working hand-in-hand to meet the needs of the community through a continual collaborative basis. Through meetin people's needs, volunteers will also be able to openly share the love of Jesus Christ.
Together, we can p articipate in meeting the phpysical, urgent needs of the world around us. When we do, we become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, as needs are met and people are blessed.

MentorKids USA helps at-risk youth. As a faith-based organization, we believe that God changes the hearts and lives of those who follow Him. A successful program includes a well-defined screening process, a quality mentor training and support experience.
Mentoring programs are of great value and some benfits are:
~ Improved academic skills
~ Reduced negative youth behavior
~ Positive social attitudes and relationships
~ Low levels of delinquency
~ Lower levels of drug and alchol use
~ Stonger altruistic behavior
Volunteers are needed as host/esses and to help serve at the Bridge Thanksgiving Dinner and Celebration held every year.
