Thank you parents for sharing your children with us! We hope to support you in your role to “bring your children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)
The Book of order states,
“In baptizing, a congregation accepts the obligation to act as a true household and family of God made up of loving individuals with mutual concern for each other. Inasmuch as the Lord Jesus Christ ordered the members of his church to teach those who are baptized, the people of the Church shall publicly promise to continue to tell the baptized persons the good news of the Gospel, to help them know all that Christ commands, and by their fellowship, to strengthen their family ties with household of God.” (B.O. 20.04)

We believe that partnering with parents is an essential part of the baptismal covenant and part of God’s design for our community.
No ministry can exist with out the dedicated volunteers that make it happen every week. We want to encourage you to consider joining us in this great work. No matter what your time or talents may be there are many opportunities for you to get involved. Volunteer Link
Working together
In an effort to build bridges between what goes on at home and the church here are some suggestions:
· Look at the “Take Home” papers sent home with your child each week. Ask about the topics discussed. Did they learn any memory verses?
· Follow the suggestions in the “Take Home” papers and use them for conversations and family devotions during the week.
· Ask them about the Grade Level Bible Knowledge and see how they are doing at their mastery of that.
· Remind children to bring their offering envelopes and talk to them about giving.
