The Sonoran Desert Chorale presents
"How Can I Keep From Singing?"

The season kicks off with great fanfare including an unusual piece by Giacomo Puccini, senior, the great-great grandfather of the opera composer of the same name. One of five generations of fine composers who lived in the Italian town of Lucca, his Credo in D, was composed in 1742 and is ideal for performance in church settings. The concert is paired with American composer Rene Clausen's first major work, A New Creation, a cantata which will be performed with chamber orchestra.

/files/Worship Images/music_4385c_1.jpg

Revel in the sounds of the season of Christmas.
Hear the warm tones of the Chancel Choir in their presentation of the "Many Moods of Christmas" by Robert Shaw, and poignant anthems of John Rutter mixed with vocal and instrumental solos including the well known spiritual, "Sweet Little Jesus Boy". Then burst into song with a set of carols for audience participation.
