Hiking - Fun Bike AdventureAll Church Fun Bike RideSaturday, March 13, 9:30 a.m. There is no better way to enjoy the sights and sounds of Paradise Valley than to get on a bike and enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise and be in the company of others that love being outdoors. The ride will take us through some beautiful neighborhoods and views of Camelback Mountain that you won’t want to miss! We will meet in the church parking lot at 9:30am to get the latest riding safety tips and riding direction and then we’ll leave at 10:00am and return by 12:30. The ride will be an easy ride and almost completely flat terrain. We’re asking that participants be old enough to ride a bike with a 20 inch wheel or bigger so that we can keep the riding group together. Smaller children are welcome to participate by riding with their parents. Please RSVP to the church office or email at church@myvalleychurch.org. The April hike will be the Go John Trail in the Cave Creek Recreation Area. The hike has an elevation gain of 800 feet; P>Recommended attire: hiking boots, hat, and sunscreen and a sack lunch. Don’t forget lots of water! Bring your camera for the beautiful wild flowers. The hike has a distance of 4.9 miles; and estimated time of 2+ hours. Please meet in the church parking lot by 8:00am; 9:00am in the parking lot by the Go John Trailhead of the Cave Creek Recreation Area. Parking is $5 per car, so you may want to carpool.
