Celebrate Mother’s Day

Come join us as we paddle down the Salt River on a 9 mile (3-4 hour) kayak adventure with family and friends. We will meet in the church parking lot east of Kiva at 7:00 am so as to caravan to Saguaro Lake Ranch (35 miles east of the 101 freeway and Shea Blvd) at 8:00am. At 8:15, there will be a brief orientation before we begin our adventure on 40 single ocean kayaks. We invite you to explore their website and download their liability waiver form (www.saguarolakeranch.com). All transactions will be handled at Saguaro Lake Ranch that morning. Cost $28.00/per person plus optional tip. Participants need to be 12 years of age or older and confident swimmers. Lifejackets will be provided. Liability waiver must be signed. Please bring/wear appropriate river attire; light waterproof clothes, water shoes/sandals, hat, sunscreen, water, waterproof camera, sack lunch to eat while on the river. We will have refreshments after our 9 mile adventure before we arrive back to reality (church), around 3:00pm. Reservations can be made by calling Mary Masters Opila at 480-970-6729. | |
