Golf
For those who have not played golf before we will be offering lessons by Mike Bishop, a PGA golf professional. Mike has brought players up from zero athletic skills to being players shooting in the low 80’s for 18 holes. Golf lessons will be around $15 for a 1 ½ hour lesson. We want all to come out for an afternoon of Christian golf fellowship. Seniors please join us. Bring your grandchildren. Parents and Grandparents share with your children and grandchildren an afternoon of fun in the sun. Valley single adults, no better place to establish safe Christian friendships than on the golf course. Valley youth, don’t let your potential be undiscovered, maybe you are the next star. Established golfers join us for a fun filled event. In regard to the cost, we are still working on the details with the Arizona Biltmore. These are very reasonable rates at these levels, but with an over whelming turnout could lower the cost for all. Join us for this event and we are hoping that you will continue with us for the whole program. We want you to feel comfortable joining us as much as your busy schedules will allow. As Christians we have received the blessings from God to hit the golf links. As Psalms 23:2 says, He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. This is a specific reference to hitting your ball into the fairway and the good news is: He leadeth me beside the still waters. The water hazards will definitely not come into play. So God says, “Hit the links” it is OK by Him. |
